the holiday season is here.
the last friday of work before christmas.
i'm at home, drinking hot chocolate eating a ham sub my husband made for me this morning. i love winter fridays at home.

this blog will be updated as of the New Year 2008 so in the meantime, please everyone have a great, safe, amazing, fun filled, laughter filled, memory making moments with your loved ones this holiday season and i'll see you all bright and re-freshed in 2008!!!

now this is what i call glam, a festival just for crystal swarovski. the Swarovski Crystal Palace at the London Design Festival 2007

202 - Gingerbread Snowflakes

it must be winter.
we had our first real snowfall this weekend, 24hr christmas music radio stations are slowly starting to appear and my itch to bake gingerbread cookies is stronger than ever!

every year around the festive season my girlfriends and i get together and have a cookie exchange. it's alot of fun, especially if you love baking and our husbands/boyfriends have a blast testing out all our cookies after the flour and baking powder has settled in the kitchens. this year i thought i would go traditional and bake some snowflake gingerbreads. you can never go wrong with gingerbreads. so being in the festive mood that i am in, i thought i would share with you all some really great inspirational cookie images to get your tummies all warm and excited!

fellow blogger Alkemie had recently posted on her obsession with reupholstering and reviving old vintage chairs. the image above is her sofa, very chic! if you've read my previous posts, you'll know that finding old unloved furishings and reviving them is also something i love to do. so here's to the old made new...
