Oh, that top image is beautiful (the fabric is such a divine shade, and I love the design). Funny I should come across this post, I just did a post this evening on what to do about some old chairs that I am thinking about recovering!

OOh I love the lavender couch but I probably wouldnt be brave enough to put anything like that in my house though.
Restoring old furniture is a pashion of mine although I do not make my own cushions, I have just got some great garden furniture and have sanded and restained it, the covers are my next project.
Choosing the right pieces for the right places is not as easy as you might think, I was looking for something for the garden and finding that right design wether from a designer or even buying homebase garden furniture straight from the shop was not as easy as I thought it would have been, with so much choice your views change each time you look at a new piece until you are so confused you cannot choose.
