if you've ever stepped foot into our place you'd probably think that my husband and i were complete slobs, but we're really quite the opposite... really! underneath the hectic laziness we call "our busy lifestyle" ... we love oranization and cleanliness. our excuse is that we just don't spend enough time at home to take the time out to clean. i'm sure a lot of young couples can relate.
the bad thing is though, on top of not really cleaning i'm also a pack rat. i love to keep every little thing from my yester-years, so for someone like myself i need a lot of storage space where i can hide my big and little trinkets. that's why the concept of a custom closet/storage space gets me really excited.
i dream of a space like this one day ...

You're so psychic it's scary!! This weekend my boyfriend and I painted my closet so we could install my Elfa system.
Somehow even if I had the space, I don't think my closet would end up looking like these! ;-)
I too have dreams of such a space and 'everything in its place' discipline. But only if everything do not come tumbling down whenever I open my 'closets'....

oh boy, I am just the opposite. I love (LOVE!) to get rid of things and regularly do. I have a few too many years of retail under my belt from my school days to kick the habit of organizing my clothes by color. Yes, it's true...I color cblock my closet and group 'like items' togeter (go ahead and throw things at me, I can take it).
so I drool over photos like this for their sheer size. I look forward to one day having an immense closet with just the right number of items inside...
Having a dressing room dedicated is heavenly. I had a dressing room for a while and I loved every minutes of it.
This reminds me that this fall I need to get rid of unwanted clothes. Neat closets free your mind of stressful ideas.

Has nobody noticed that this is all an illusion? Even if you had the space and built the same closet, you would fill it with real clothes of a variety of shapes and colours. The pictures only look perfect because the clothes are all white.
