this morning my husband came home with a great big package for me from Montreal. like a child on christmas morning, i frantically opened it up to find a great little napsack with a full picnic set inside! the surpise isn't the gift itself but the fact that it was sent from fellow canadian blogger Kim Vallee who's blog i frequet and have only met through blogging.

Jenn, you took a nice shot. It is a million times nicer than the picture from the distributor.

Regarding what you said on A Dose of Reality, I believe that blogging is a powerful social media. My mother often became friends with people she met while traveling. Some of which she met only for a few hours. By corresponding with them afterwards, she kept several friendships very active. Blogging is in a sense a modernized version.

oh how sweet! and I agree, what a gorgeous photo!

Kim, your observation about blogging is something most people overlook. It's not about comments and emails...it's about the relationships people form and the boundaries we allow ourselves to remove. I love 'meeting' fellow flogger friends via phone and (when I travel) in person when possible.

This is a remarkable tool available to us all!
