Kim Vallee has a great blog on how to host great gatherings and events with lots of fantastic tips and tricks of the trade. not only am i getting and saving great ideas from her blog but she inspires me to challenge myself creatively when it comes to hosting for my friends and family...which includes entertaining my husband.
my husband loves food and lately we haven't been able to spend that much quality time together with our busy schedules so i thought it would be nice to make some quality time - like a date. so i'm taking him on a picnic .... inspired by Kim's "Outdoor Rooms & Parties section.
i thought i'd create some of his favorites and a few new snacks i was introduced to such as water popcycles & column cornbread instead of muffins from Kim.

I know, when I first saw those watercycles I was like WOW! :P haha how refreshing would those be with a tint of berry flavours! Mmmm

her blog is about creativity & she now is an instant favorite! Also have you seen pretty organic flowers inside ice cubes? it looks beautiful! I was going to post that but no longer do I have to do that b/c kim already did, but thank you I will visit her site mo often.
